Brendan is a former Conservative Member of the European Parliament, who left the Conservative Party in 1999 in protest against its anti-European policies. Since then, he has stood in the European elections of 1999, 2009 and 2014, always for pro-European parties.

First Leamington Euro Café for EU citizens to come for information and friendship will launch at end of month

Glasgow Loves EU invite you to come and join us to mark the sad occasion of our official leaving time from the European Union.
Campaigners from across the country joined forces in Leeds city centre today (25 March) as part of a national call to rejoin the EU. / The protest was one of more than 30 events taking place in Britain – plus two in Spain – on what was dubbed a 'Day for Rejoin'.
We are going on the offensive, with rallies in 15 towns and cities across the country, culminating with an enormous, historic march in London on October 12. Because it is now clear that this is a crisis that cannot be settled by a new prime minister or a deadlocked parliament. It can only be settled by us, the people.
We want to put Brexit behind us. We want to reunite with Europe.
Creatives have been hit with a double whammy of the pandemic and Brexit making it harder and sometimes impossible to work in Europe like they used to.
