The impact of Britain’s departure from the EU is being felt on the other side of the world. Residents of the British overseas territory of Anguilla have UK passports but weren’t allowed to vote in the referendum. Yet their relationship with the European Union is fundamental to their everyday life.

The British overseas territory Anguilla is against Brexit. Residents, who could not vote in the referendum, fear they will be hit hard by trade barriers to neighboring EU territories. Now, the Caribbean island is considering leaving the United Kingdom.

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Caribbean Community, there was a call for an anthem of CARICOM. The lyrics and music of Michele Henderson from Dominica has been successfully selected for the CARICOM Anthem.
