Bet365 is reportedly considering relocating its Gibraltar operations to Malta after the UK leaves the European Union (EU).

888 has applied for a gaming licence in Malta due to Brexit uncertainties over Gibraltar. The Gibraltar-based company is concerned about the impact of the UK’s departure from the European Union on the British Overseas Territory, which is home to many of the world’s leading e-gaming and sports betting firms.

Malta’s gaming industry looks set to benefit greatly from Brexit, picking up the business lost by Gibraltar, experts have told The Associated Press.
