URGENT! (Deadline: 23/07/2019) "... requests the Commission propose means to avoid risk of collective loss of EU citizenship and rights, and assure all EU citizens that, once attained, such status is permanent and their rights acquired."
The Government should give UK voters the opportunity to vote on whether they want the Government to open negotiations on re-joining the European Union.
The government repeatedly claims exiting the EU is 'the will of the people'. We need to put a stop to this claim by proving the strength of public support now, for remaining in the EU. A People's Vote may not happen - so vote now.
If you wish to retain your EU Citizenship no matter what happens with the ongoing discussions between Mrs May, Mr Davis, Mr Verhofstadt and Mr Barnier, then you have an opportunity to register your wish here.
We should remain within the ECHR to protect our legal rights.
As the UK begins to negotiate trade deals with countries around the world, do you want the food you eat to continue to be produced to the world leading standards you’ve come to expect? Sign our food standards petition and ask the UK government to ensure all food imports are produced to the same high standards as British farmers.
We, the signatories of this letter, represent artists, producers, managers, businesses, and platforms from across the Music Industry in the UK and are writing to express our real concerns over Brexit and the current direction of the UK’s proposed departure from the EU.
It has never been more important for the Brexit deal and its impacts to be examined, and for the government’s future plans for our relationship with the EU to be challenged.
Europe for Scotland 29/04/2021
We are Europeans from across the continent and around the world. / We want the people of Scotland to know that Europeans everywhere would welcome them back in the European Union if this is still their democratic wish.
The benefits that were promised if the UK exited the European Union have not been delivered, so we call upon the Government to hold a Public Inquiry to assess the impact that Brexit has had on this country and its citizens.
We are in the middle of a pandemic. EU citizens in UK need more time to apply for settled or pre-settled status. The deadline for doing so needs to be extended by two years until 30th June 2023.
As the Brexit debate in parliament reaches its peak, much of the public has been left cold. MPs have been so absorbed in backstops and withdrawal agreements that nobody is addressing the underlying problems that led many people to vote for Brexit.
“We declare that Scotland is a European country, embracing our common values of peace, democracy, human rights, equality, sustainability and solidarity. The clear wish of the great majority of the Scottish people is that Scotland should be within the European Union. We commit to working to bring this about, whatever Scotland’s constitutional status”.
Even as we are told Brexit is ‘done’, polls show that more people believe it was wrong to leave the EU than believe it was right, and more would vote to rejoin the EU than to stay out.
We should abide by the democratic principle that there must be no taxation without representation. Five million people were wrongly disenfranchised and could not vote in the 2016 referendum. Voices for Europe and In Limbo sponsor this petition on behalf of EU citizens in the UK and Brits abroad.
An open letter from joint CEOs Miriam Turner and Hugh Knowles to the Department of Trade on possible trade deals with the US.
If Theresa May requests a three month extension of Article 50 (or longer), then the European elections will take place while the UK is still an EU member.
UK citizens are losing our European citizenship because of Brexit. Stay European is the campaign for an EU associate membership scheme that would give us the option to continue as EU members as individuals.
