The European elections on 23-26 May are a key moment for candidates to commit to protect our fundamental rights. It’s a chance for European citizens to recognize that the European Parliament helps protect the rule of law, and the human rights and dignity of people living across the EU and those outside its borders.

The number of remain parties in the EU elections means there is a clear and present danger that the remain vote will be split, leading to more Brexiteer MEPs being elected. Smart remain voters need to think tactically and focus on the leading remain party in their region.

We are candidates standing as independents in the upcoming MEP elections. The Climate & Ecological Emergency Independents are inspired by the Youth Strikes 4 Climate, Greta Thunberg and the Extinction Rebellion movement.
