A pro-Brexit minister and MPs have accused the Civil Service of pursuing a ‘Remain’ agenda. Steve Bullock, a former civil servant, argues that the consequences of undermining civil servants in this way are potentially disastrous.
During her meeting with the Prime Minister on Monday though, Nicola Sturgeon spotted that No Deal is not a bluff, but Johnson’s real aim. I think she’s right.

On Tuesday, the UK minister for Brexit said that the UK government would be making plans to stockpile food to mitigate shortages that would be caused by a No Deal Brexit and ensure that “adequate food” was available.
