The new charges are set to come into force at the end of the month and will mean higher food prices will be passed on to consumers, suppliers warn.
The European Commission report says this is “likely the result of honey produced in other countries and further blended in the UK before it is re-exported to the EU”.
"Brexit has definitely affected us for going to Tahiti (the largest island in French Polynesia) because we're no longer in the European Union," she told AFP.
